A much-loved Bath pub tucked away at the very end of the iconic Great Pulteney Street, The Pulteney Arms is one of Bath’s most welcoming family-run pubs, a place where locals, visitors, workers, dog-walkers, and weekend wanderers all feel instantly at home.

Run by Dean and Sasha, our pub is a true neighbourhood favourite: relaxed, friendly, full of charm, and built around great food, great drinks, and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re joining us for a long lunch, a cosy dinner, a casual pint, or one of our popular quiz nights, you’ll always be greeted with a smile.

Inside, you’ll find a classic 18th-century Bath pub with warm wooden beams, snug corners and a welcoming bar where familiar faces come and go. Step outside and you’ll find our terrace, a sunshine spot in warmer months and a sociable space all year round.

We’re proud to serve a selection of award winning beers, ciders, wines, spirits, a great G&T, and a delicious food menu featuring pub favourites. Whether it’s a light lunch, a hearty dinner or just something tasty to enjoy with a drink, there’s always something to tempt you.

Our Week Begins on a Wednesday

The Pulteney Arms opens every week from Wednesday to Sunday, with opening Hours from 12pm daily until late (Monday & Tuesday closed).

You’re always welcome to walk in, though for Sunday lunches, busier evenings or group bookings, it’s worth reserving a table.
